The publication period is 2 months and the trademark application is open to oppositions by third parties. If there is no opposition at the end of the 2-month period, the registration decision is granted for the trademark application and the registration fee is paid and the registration certificate is issued. It is obligatory to obtain a trademark registration certificate in Turkey. However, the registration fee is charged as a single fee, not according to the number of classes.

 In Turkey, trademarks provide protection for 10 years from the filing date of application and are renewed in every 10 years.
